Bio:
I received my M.S. in Bioastronautics from CU Boulder in 2025, where I researched CO₂ removal and control in spacecraft atmospheres using ionic liquids and ultrasonic technology. From 2022–2023, I worked as a Systems Engineer at Heliospace, supporting NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope and Mars Sample Return missions. In 2022, I earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly SLO, where I researched astronomy and hybrid/renewable powertrain systems. I joined The Nordness Group in Fall 2025. Outside research, I enjoy surfing, jiu jitsu, writing, and baking bread
Research Interests:
I am a Ph.D. student exploring the use of ionic liquids in liquid–liquid and liquid–gas separation systems to lessen the environmental and economic impacts of pervasive resource-extraction and environmental-management technologies. I am also interested in developing energy-efficient methods for ionic liquid regeneration.
