Research Interests
I am interested in innovative, sustainable materials and processes for CO2 capture, utilization, and conversion. My current research focuses on developing porous liquids for CO2 capture.
Bio
I graduated from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a BA in Physics, Chemistry, & Strategy in 2021. While at NYU, I worked in the Hybrid Nanomaterials Laboratory for 2 years researching quantum dot synthesis, nanocatalyst optimization and characterization, H-Cell testing, and product analysis for CO2 electroreduction to alcohols. After graduating, I worked in the climate technology industry for 2 years as an R&D Chemist at Air Company. At Air Company, I worked on catalyst synthesis, optimization, testing, and product analysis for CO2 hydrogenation to alcohols, paraffins, and aromatics with the final output of vodka, fragrance, and SAF(Sustainable Aviation Fuel). In Fall 2023, I began my program at Columbia and joined the Nordness Lab! Outside the lab, I enjoy painting, yoga, and competing in the NYC Trivia League.
