Professor Nordness's research has been centered on developing fundamental insights into the transport and thermodynamics of soft materials and complex electrolytes. He is passionate about developing innovative and effective solutions for environmental challenges including clean water access, sustainable mining, carbon capture utilization and storage, and the transition to sustainable energy.
