Masters Students

Bio I graduated from Sichuan Agricultural University with a B.Eng. in Environmental Ecological Engineering in 2020. During my undergraduate, I worked on removing heavy metals from water using modified biochar. I interned at the Institute of Process, Chinese Academy of Science, in my senior year, where I worked on High-Temperature Stable Vanadate Materials for denitrification of industrial exhaust gases. After graduating, I served for Chengdu Airport Construction Co. Ltd for four years. In 2023, I attended research on MOFs for carbon capture and storage, where I developed interest in porous media. In the fall of 2024, I began my program at Columbia and joined the Nordness group. Now I am focusing on high cost-effective solvent for extracting Mg from minerals. Outside the lab, I enjoy cooking, baking, and exercising.

Research Interests I am interested in porous media for CO2 capture and storage and advanced solvents for mineral extraction. My current research focuses on developing solvents for Mg extraction.
